Brooklyn-born, Staten Island-raised artist, Justy, continues to prove why she was named a recipient of Citi + Live Nation’s Emerging LGBTQ Artist grant and selected as a performer at Brooklyn Pride in 2022.
Heavily inspired by the works of artists such as J Dilla, Amy Winehouse, NoName, Anderson Paak, and Lauryn Hill, Justy continues to evolve, and incorporate elements of jazz, hip-hop, and neo-soul into her music.
In 2021, her debut album Pain With Benefits and in 2022 she was selected by Men’s Warehouse for a custom suit activation in time for her Brooklyn Pride show marking the first activation for the retailer at Pride. Then in 2023, she made her festival debut at SummerStage.
Justy is set to release an EP in the fall, and build on her already released holiday songs. She’s currently working on her sophomore album, Love With Benefits, which is a euphoric blend of indie, soul, and hip-hop releasing in 2025.
